On August 17, 900,000 tons of green electrolytic aluminum production capacity of Yunnan Shenhuo Aluminum Co., Ltd. and 500,000 tons of green electrolytic aluminum production capacity of Yunnan Yuefeng Aluminum Co., Ltd. reached full capacity again, with a total production capacity of 1.4 million tons.
It is understood that from May to September last year, due to sufficient power load, Yunnan Shenhuo and Yuefeng Aluminum two companies achieved full capacity for five consecutive months. However, from September last year to June this year, the production capacity of the two companies was also affected by the lack of electricity load due to the decrease in rainfall. From June 18 this year, the two companies seized the opportunity to release the power load, continue to increase productivity, gradually increase production capacity, August 17, the two companies at the same time to achieve full capacity operation.
With the full production of two leading aluminum enterprises, it injected strong momentum into the economic growth of Wenshan Prefecture Park. As of August 17, the state electrolytic aluminum production capacity of 3.2 million tons, operating capacity of 2,696,800 tons. Statistics from the statistical department of Wenshan Prefecture show that from January to July this year, the state's aluminum industrial output value has reached 27.681 billion yuan, and now the two companies are operating at full capacity, and the aluminum industrial output value will be further increased.
This year's government work report proposed that around the construction of the core area of "China green Aluminum Valley" and the vanguard of the development of the province's green aluminum industry, with lightweight, intelligent and high-end as the development direction, accelerate the construction and operation of green aluminum production capacity, promote the value chain toward high-end, product chain toward the terminal, and achieve a comprehensive output value of green aluminum of more than 66 billion yuan. As things stand, the overall target is expected to be reached this year.
At present, the increase of electrolytic aluminum production capacity provides sufficient raw materials for downstream aluminum enterprises in the state, and will accelerate the progress of Wenshan to build the whole industrial chain of aluminum processing.
