The United States International Trade Commission made a double negative industrial injury final ruling on aluminum profiles

On October 30, 2024, The United States International Trade Commission (ITC) voted to import Aluminum from 13 countries including China, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and Taiwan Extrusions made anti-dumping negative industry injury final ruling, countervailing negative industry injury final ruling on aluminum extrusions imported from China, Indonesia, Mexico and Turkey, ruled that the US Department of Commerce ruled that the products involved in the dumping and subsidy behavior did not cause material damage or threat of material damage to the US domestic industry. According to the negative final ruling of the US International Trade Commission, the US Department of Commerce will not issue anti-dumping duties and countervailing duties on the above products.
 
On October 25, 2023, the U.S. Department of Commerce launched an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation on aluminum profiles imported from China, Indonesia, Mexico and Turkey, and an anti-dumping investigation on aluminum profiles imported from Colombia, Dominica, Ecuador, India, Italy, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and Taiwan. On November 17, 2023, the United States International Trade Commission voted to make anti-dumping and countervailing investigations on aluminum profiles imported from China, Indonesia, Mexico and Turkey. On imports from Colombia, Ecuador, India, Italy, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam nine countries and Taiwan region of China to make anti-dumping industry injury preliminary ruling, ruled that the alleged subsidies and dumping of the products involved in the United States caused substantial damage to the domestic industry. At the same time, the United States International Trade Commission made a negative preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping industry injury of imported Dominican aluminum profiles and terminated the anti-dumping investigation of Dominican aluminum profiles. On September 27, 2024, the US Department of Commerce made a final anti-dumping ruling on aluminum profiles imported from China, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and Taiwan, China. The final anti-subsidy ruling was made on aluminum profiles imported from China, Indonesia, Mexico and Turkey.
