According to foreign media reports, US President Trump announced on May 30 that he plans to raise the import tariffs on steel and aluminum from 25% to 50%, and stated that the policy will take effect on June 4.
On February 11th of this year, Trump announced the imposition of a 25% tariff on all steel and aluminum imported into the United States. This policy was officially implemented on March 12th.
