Yuefeng Aluminum-based New Materials Group has successfully trial-produced food-grade color aluminum coils

Recently, Yuefeng Color Coating Manufacturing Co., LTD., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yuefeng Aluminum-based New Materials Group Co., Ltd. under Yuefeng Group, has achieved a key breakthrough: its No. 2 foil coating line successfully produced an alloy "8011HO" ultra-thin flash golden yellow lunch box material color aluminum coil with a thickness of only 0.06mm and a width of 1250mm in one go. The thickness of this product reaches the thinnest level of 0.06mm in the industry at present. Its unique "transparent gold" appearance places extremely high demands on the surface quality of the base material, the production process and the precision of the equipment. The successful trial production this time fully demonstrates the comprehensive leading strength of the color-coated company in the overall process, marking an important technological breakthrough for Yuefeng New Materials Group in the field of food-grade aluminum materials. It has become the first enterprise in Jiangsu Province with the mass production capacity of food-grade color-coated aluminum coils and is expected to enter the high-end food packaging market such as airline lunch boxes and beer caps.
In response to the urgent demand for safe and environmentally friendly materials in the food packaging market, Yuefeng New Materials Group launched a strategic transformation and breakthrough action in July this year, comprehensively upgrading and renovating the original No. 2 foil coating line equipment. Under the overall deployment of Yuefeng Group, the Color Coating Company formed a special breakthrough team and implemented the "Three Ones" working mechanism with "one account for problems, one table for progress, and one network for responsibilities" as the key points. Through regular equipment upgrade and transformation promotion meetings, it systematically sorted out 25 equipment pain points and independently completed 12 technical renovations and over 10 minor improvements.
During the equipment upgrade process, the project team was confronted with multiple challenges such as a complex working environment, the difficulty of renovating old equipment, and a tight schedule. With the technical support of the cooperative unit, the project team rose to the challenge, raced against time and ensured the key milestones. Eventually, they completed the equipment upgrade goal of the No. 2 foil coating line 10 days ahead of schedule and successfully produced qualified products. At present, the equipment upgrade and transformation is nearing completion. After the transformation, the annual production capacity of the equipment will reach 3,000 tons, capable of manufacturing food-grade color aluminum coils with a thickness ranging from 0.03 to 0.2mm and a maximum material width of 1300mm, effectively meeting the diverse demands of the high-end market for material specifications.
