Recently, the electrolytic aluminum plant of Yuefeng New Materials Co., Ltd. and Yuefeng Aluminum Industry Service Co., Ltd. jointly promoted the application of anode aluminum steel direct welding technology. After systematic verification, it has officially entered the stage of large-scale promotion. This technology significantly enhances production stability through process innovation. After actual measurement, the energy-saving effect has reached the expected goal, providing an innovative solution for energy conservation and consumption reduction in the electrolytic aluminum industry.
During the technical breakthrough stage, the electrolytic aluminum plant actively prepared a special work plan, detailed the specific test steps, and jointly completed core tasks such as equipment commissioning and installation, welding trial operation, destructive verification, cell loading trial verification, and voltage drop tracking measurement with Yuefeng Aluminum Workwear. At the same time, it continuously advanced the optimization of auxiliary facilities, laying a solid foundation for the smooth passing of the project performance test. The test team of the electrolytic aluminum plant conducted a full-process tracking of the guide rod's off-line, welding quality, and trial use in the tank, and fully evaluated the adaptability, strength, and energy-saving effect of the aluminum-steel direct-welded guide rod in high-temperature environments. After technical confirmation through tests, the first batch of anode guide rods repaired by the steel-aluminum direct welding technology have stable weld quality, no cracking or false welding issues, and a good overall structure, meeting the requirements for trial operation and delivery.
