Recently, Yuefeng Aluminum successfully broke through the technical barrier of 5083 aluminum plate bending processing and smoothly completed the delivery of a special material order for a certain enterprise.
 
Facing the processing requirements of 5083 aluminum plates with a thickness of 5-8mm and a large specification of 6m×2m, the technical team has achieved a major technological breakthrough in the field of precision bending through the dual-wheel drive of "process innovation + equipment breakthrough".
 
A breakthrough in material properties
In view of the elongation and rebound coefficient characteristics of 5083 aluminum plates, multiple bending stress release or positioning errors may lead to cumulative deviations. The technical team of Yuefeng Aluminum first disassembled the drawings and adopted the "solid sample" verification mode. Through conducting multiple solid samples, they optimized the bending processing sequence and finally determined the R-angle cutting accuracy and calculated the Angle tolerance, thus overcoming the difficulty of forming accuracy control.
 
Zero-scratch protection technology
In response to the technical pain point that the surface of aluminum plates is relatively soft and prone to scratches, by providing corresponding protection for the bending die and the surface of the plates, the entire bending process of aluminum materials is achieved with zero scratches, ensuring the surface quality
