Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province has publicized the proposed award projects for the 2024 Jiangsu Science and Technology Award. The project "High-Performance Copper-based Alloy Laser Additive Manufacturing and Composite Remanufacturing Technology and Application", in which Yuefeng Aluminum Industry participated as the main completing unit, won the second prize of Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, once again highlighting Yuefeng Aluminum Industry's profound technical background and R&D innovation strength in the field of materials science.
The Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award is hosted and selected by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology. This time, Yuefeng Aluminum Industry, as the main completing unit of the "High-Performance Copper-based Alloy Laser Additive Manufacturing and Composite Remanufacturing Technology and Application" project, is responsible for the engineering application of laser-induction composite cladding particle-reinforced superalloy remanufacturing technology in the surface strengthening and repair remanufacturing of the "heart" of the company's aluminum profile equipment - extrusion dies. The project team has successively carried out a series of development tests Strengthen and repair various aluminum profile extrusion dies and grooving cutter wheels. The achievements in research and development technology have promoted the improvement of the service life of key components of the company's aluminum profile extrusion dies and the growth of profits in the aluminum profile sales business, creating good economic and social benefits.
