Using an ordinary alloy system, it meets the high standards of vehicle safety, and has successfully passed the strict material qualification certification of major automotive manufacturers.
In response to the increasingly strict entry standards set by automotive manufacturers, the R&D team of the enterprise collaborated with the upstream aluminum rod factory to optimize the alloy element ratio, adjust the extrusion process parameters, and ultimately precisely and stably control the performance fluctuations of the 6005A profile. The developed 6005A anti-collision beam profile has stable performance. Its tensile strength exceeds 300 MPa, the yield strength is over 275 MPa, and the elongation after fracture remains above 12.5%. It has passed all 18 mainstream supplier qualification tests for automotive manufacturers, including bending angle and expansion test, and all meet the national standards for 6005A aluminum alloy automotive profiles. This expands the production capacity of the enterprise for different grades of aluminum alloy safety components. While meeting the usage performance requirements, using the developed 6005 aluminum alloy to produce automotive safety components results in a cost reduction of approximately 5% per ton compared to other raw materials, successfully achieving the dual goals of "improving quality and reducing costs".
