Recently, Yuefeng Aluminum successfully completed the test rolling work of XXXMPa grade high-end pre-stretched sheet, which improved the comprehensive performance of high-performance sheet in key areas.
According to the project development plan, the project team of the research and development Department of Yuefeng Aluminum Technology Center carried out the rolling work of 20mm and 25mm plates with small specifications in the technical center test base, and successfully rolled to the finished product specifications in one time. This is the first time for the pilot base to achieve the smooth rolling of the new alloy plate with mpa level, which enhanced the confidence of the project team members to overcome difficulties. It significantly improves the field practice ability of young technicians, provides an important technical basis for the industrialization of plate rolling, and lays a foundation for the comprehensive performance improvement of the megapascal plate.
It is reported that the megapa-level plate development is mainly combined with advanced materials genetic engineering methods, the use of machine learning, breakthrough in the composition design of a new generation of ultra-high strength and high toughness aluminum alloy and rapid iterative optimization to determine the best composition range of the alloy, combined with the processing and heat treatment of the plate and other advanced integrated preparation process, to achieve cross-generation upgrading of the comprehensive performance of the plate. Compared with the mature materials now applied, the megapas-class plate application can achieve at least 10% weight reduction of key structural parts in active service, which is of great significance for effectively extending the service life, improving the carrying capacity and reducing the operating cost.
