The General Office of the People's Government of Yunnan Province recently issued the "Action Plan for the Development of Industrial Parks in Yunnan Province". The plan states that by 2028, the province aims to achieve an output value of over 600 billion yuan for the non-ferrous metal industry, with the output value of rare and precious metal industries exceeding 180 billion yuan; the new energy battery and phosphorus industries will become new industries worth over 100 billion yuan. The refined processing industries of non-ferrous metals mainly consisting of aluminum and copper.
Carry out the special action of extending, supplementing and strengthening the non-ferrous metal industry chain. Vigorously develop recycled aluminum, aluminum-based and copper-based new materials and their terminal products, significantly increase the processing conversion rate of aluminum and copper, promote the integrated development of recycled aluminum and copper with downstream processing industries, and build a national strategic non-ferrous metal industrial base.
Promote the development and utilization of clean energy in the park and the implementation of energy-saving technological renovations. Encourage breakthroughs in advanced technologies and processes. Focus on promoting energy conservation and carbon reduction throughout the entire chain of industries such as green aluminum, silicon, and new energy batteries.
