The European Union has made the final ruling on the second sunset review of anti-dumping duties on rolled aluminum foil from China

On August 7, 2025, the European Commission issued a notice stating that it made the final ruling on the second anti-dumping sunset review of Aluminium Foil in Rolls originating from China: If the current anti-dumping measures are lifted, the damage caused by the dumping of the involved products to the EU industry will continue or recur. Therefore, it is decided to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on the involved Chinese products. The anti-dumping duty rates for the involved Chinese enterprises range from 14.2% to 35.6%. The duty rates are detailed in the table below. The EU CN codes of the involved products are ex 76071111 and ex 76071910 (TARIC codes are 7607111111, 7607111119, 7607191011 and 7607191019). The dumping investigation period for this sunset review is from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023, and the industry damage analysis period is from January 1, 2020 to the end of the dumping investigation period.

On June 5, 2019, the European Commission made the final ruling on the first anti-dumping sunset review of rolled aluminum foil originating from China. On June 3, 2024, the European Commission initiated the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on rolled aluminum foil originating from China.
