At 14:28 on September 29th, after going through processes such as smelting, degassing, impurity removal and rolling, the first large-diameter and ultra-wide cast and rolled aluminum coil of Yuefeng New Energy Materials Technology (Guangxi) Co., Ltd. was successfully rolled off the production line, marking the successful trial production of the company's first cast and rolled production line and taking a crucial step in the high-end manufacturing field of new energy materials.
It is reported that this casting and rolling production line adopts the world's leading casting and rolling integrated process and intelligent control system, which can achieve stable and efficient production of high-performance power battery foil blanks. The general manager of Yuefeng New Energy Materials Technology (Guangxi) Co., Ltd. said, "After the project reaches full production capacity, it will significantly enhance the independent control ability of China's new energy industry chain and supply chain. At the same time, it will also help the aluminum industry in Baise achieve more breakthroughs in areas such as supplementing, extending and strengthening the industrial chain."
Cast and rolled aluminum coils are key raw materials for power battery foil and can be widely applied in national strategic emerging industries such as new energy vehicles and ultra-thin aluminum foil. The director of the casting and Rolling department of Yuefeng New Energy Materials Technology (Guangxi) Co., Ltd. introduced, "Currently, the daily production capacity of one of our production lines is around 30 tons. We plan to install 12 production lines." After the project reaches full production capacity, it is expected to achieve an annual output of 120,000 tons of high-end battery foil aluminum sheet and strip.
The project of Yuefeng Technology to produce 120,000 tons of high-performance battery foil sheet and strip (high-quality aluminum sheet and strip) with a thickness of less than 0.5mm and 40,000 tons of high-performance battery foil annually is a "Double Hundred and Double New" industrial project of the autonomous region and a major project of Baise City. The municipal committee and the municipal government attach great importance to project construction. They have established a mechanism for the "top leader" to coordinate and serve major industrial projects, discuss the monthly construction goals and tasks of the projects, coordinate and solve the difficulties and problems existing in the process of promotion, and ensure the smooth progress of the projects. The Baidong New District has established a dedicated working team to clearly define the responsible units for each issue that the project needs to address, such as supporting power supply, factory area drainage, and the construction of aluminum water channels.
We also coordinated with the People's Government of Tianyang District, the Municipal Natural Resources Bureau and other units and departments to jointly promote the construction of the 110kV line project. We solved problems such as slope protection design and aluminum water channel construction for the project, ensuring that the supporting projects and the main construction were advanced simultaneously.
