According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to May 2025, the non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry achieved operating income of 3,760.79 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of 15.9%. The operating cost was 3,550.16 billion yuan, increasing by 16.8% year-on-year. The total profit was 121.75 billion yuan, increasing by 9.8% year-on-year.
From January to May, the non-ferrous metal mining and selection industry achieved operating income of 162.26 billion yuan, increasing by 15.7% year-on-year. The operating cost was 93.59 billion yuan, increasing by 5.8% year-on-year. The total profit was 47.48 billion yuan, increasing by 41.7% year-on-year.
