Recently, the National Non-ferrous Metal Standardization Technical Committee forwarded the "Notice of the National Standardization Management Committee on issuing the fourth batch of recommended National standards Plan and related standards Foreign Language Plan in 2024", and the "New energy power battery shell and cover for aluminum and aluminum alloy plates and strips" national standard plan and its foreign language plan were approved by Yuefeng Aluminum Materials Institute.
 
The revision of the standard is in response to the needs of the country to actively promote the rapid development of the new energy automobile industry, and put forward to promote the high-quality development of green intelligent manufacturing with the guidance of the standard, which is led by Yuefeng Aluminum Materials Institute and is listed as an important project by the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration.
